Day 4 - My Real Feng Shui Journal - Too Many Circles

All I can say is remembering is one thing and understanding is quite another. I cannot move on until I really "GET" the 3 cycles...the saga continues.

Day 3 - My Real Feng Shui Journal - Road Blocks Already?

Feng Shui learner hits road blocks? Isn't there a feng shui cure for that?

All kidding aside, I am still scattered as in keeping my home organized, feeding all living things within sight, watching Ellen, etc.

I will do better tomorrow. Today I am absorbing the simplicity of the order of the 5 elements. I stopped painting feng shui cures when I learned that there were 3 cycles and I could be creating more harm than good.

I went to a memorial today for a family member and wore the yin yang symbol necklace belonging to Haley (granddaughter for those of you who don't know) and the pastor presiding over it kept looking at it and I don't know if he meant to do it or not but he started talking about opposites in this world and how they play an important part in the quality of our lives. Hmmm!

Less road blocks tomorrow because I say so...!

Day 2 - My Real Feng Shui Journal - Focus!

Today is really my first day although I tried to get here yesterday.

It took 2 hours to find the link to my feng shui classwork.

None-the-less, I am going from blowing in the wind and bobbing on the water to fly in the wind and swim in the water.

I am stoked about the rest of my life!

Walking through my house I see so many books I love and paintings unfinished and realized that I need to edit/remove/hide these distractions in order to focus. Where am I going to put it all? And to think I live a fairly de-cluttered lifestyle!

It's only 2:30pm.
This is the first leg of a long journey.
Wake up brain!!!

Day 1 - My Real Feng Shui Journal - Playing with Fire!

Yesterday was really my 1st day when I supposed to sign up for my foundational feng shui class but it was my mother's 86th birthday and I actually believed I could squeeze in such a significant moment in my life, so I am beginning today...day 2.

Before I even begin I learned that my unique, original, creative, invention is not real feng shui. I hope to find a way to work it in as an enhancement during the course of my learning and understanding. I have decided to take the authentic classical feng shui road to certification and there is no use for trinkets that are so much fun to use in faux feng shui. Not that I am criticizing anything or anyone, I am not. This is what I am reading today. I am kind of bummed and excited all at the same time.

My feng shui art is probably hanging on all the wrong walls too. I have personally experienced the power of placement with my pieces so I have stopped moving anything right now. I feel like I have been playing with fire!!!
